Program Description

There are numerous directions that the healthcare field can take you.  Students take Health Foundations in their first year while starting their path to an Associate Degree of Science from Baker College.  In the 2nd year, students begin to narrow their path and choose between Capital Area Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant.

Students will choose the necessary pre-requisite classes needed for the Baker College limited enrollment programs while in CRTEC.  Upon completion or during their time in CRTEC, they will apply to the program that they have been preparing for.
